The Chargé d’affaires of the Myanmar Embassy in Canberra, Daw Myat Thuzar Than, received a courtesy call from H.E. Mr. NOM Piseth, Ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Australia, at the Myanmar Embassy at 10:00 a.m. on 23 April 2026.
During the meeting, they cordially discussed and exchanged views on matters related to the activities of ASEAN Committee in Canberra, the close cooperation between the two Embassies based on long-standing bilateral relations, developments in relations with neighbouring countries, as well as the practices and procedures of each Embassy in consular matters.
The Chargé d’affaires also briefed the Ambassador-designate on recent developments of Myanmar.
